Headlines: Apple Removes MySQL From Lion Server

Apple has removed MySQL from Lion server, replacing it with PostgreSQL. Snow Leopard Server had access to MySQL from both the GUI and the command line, but the open source database has disappeared entirely from Mac OS X Lion Server,  Postgres is there, but it's available only from the command line. It's speculated that Apple has removed MySQL from Lion server because the database has fallen into the hands of Oracle. Apple has always been known not to favor GPL licensed software. So what does this mean? If you wish to use MySQL with Lion Server, you'll have to install it yourself
