Headlines: NXP Smart gesture cards

With the rapidly expanding growth of Near-Field Communication (NFC), concerns about security and privacy are growing along with it. There is a lot  of concerns about storing personal information within NFC tags and mobile applications and devices.  While services like Google Wallet are heavily focused on security, there are still several other uses of NFC technology that are unlocked and easily cracked. NXP Semiconductors is building on a smart card that will add an additional layer of security; it requires you to draw gestures, patterns or even enter PIN codes in order to unlock the secure information on your computer. This device works best when using a RFID reader to access your corporate offices or even when useing NFC to import passwords and other sensitive information.
