Introducing a New Way to DJ

Spotify has teamed up with Algoriddim to make DJ life even easier

Everyone knows the hardest part of being a DJ is finding the right music, mixing it up and putting it all together for the pleasure of party goers.

djay 2 the software created by Algoriddim changes the ordinary iPad/iPhone into a full featured dj station complete with millions of songs to choose from thanks to their partnership with Spotify. This feature is currently only available to paid subscribers of the Spotify service. Not to worry, however, the app fully integrates with the Itunes gallery.

Beginners can enable AutoMix Radio and sit back and enjoy the party, even if it is just a party of one. Automix Radio not only picks tracks that go well together but mixes them so they are beat-matched DJ-style, all based on user musical tastes. 

Introducing Match. This first of its kind feature, uses the current playing track to recommend the best track to play next based on danceability, BPM, taste, key and music style. Powered by EchoNest, a recent acquisition by Spotify, this feature will make beginners look like experts.
