The much anticipated Kali Linux 2.0 

Offensive Security, one of the leading security researchers, penetration testers and hackers have released the much anticipated Kali Linux 2.0. Those of you not currently up  on your pen-testing game may be more familiar of its predecessor Backtrack. Kali is the evolution of Backtrack on steroids.

Kali is an open-source penetration testing platform with hundreds of Penetration Testing. Forensics, hacking and reverse engineering tools in a Debian-based Linux distribution.

Version 2.0 Codenamed “Kali Sana” offers a redesigned user interface along with a new multi-level menus and tool category options and is now a full fledge distribution giving its users frequent core system updates and tools.
